Message from the Hon. Chief Justice…

I am pleased to welcome you to the Judicial and Legal Administration’s website, which has just recently been relaunched. We hope you will enjoy the site’s new look and feel as you navigate its pages. Wherever possible we have tried to improve the site’s functionality which will be evident in the coming months as we launch an array of new e-services.

In keeping with our mission to fairly dispense justice, in a timely and efficient manner, as well as providing international legal assistance we have chosen to rely on the use of information technology as a means of staying current and modern in our approach.

Our vision is to develop this website as a portal to safe and secure access to the justice system by the public, both here at home and abroad. We hope you find the site both user-friendly and useful. By all means, please send us your feedback.

Your observations and suggestions are invaluable in terms of our on-going efforts to fine-tune and improve the site.

The Hon. Anthony Smellie QC, J.P.,
LLD (Hon) Liverpool; LLB (Hons) U.W.I, CLE
Chief Justice, Cayman Islands
